A haven for adventurers

This actual park should in fact appeal to small adventurers looking for chills: The Alligator bay, near Mont-Saint-Michel, welcomes alligators, crocodiles, lizards, snakes and turtles.

Under the leadership of Jean Pierre Macé, enthusiast since childhood, the Reptilelarium of Mont Saint-Michel opened to the public in 1994 and has continued to evolve and to enrich itself through permanent exhibitions. Renamed Alligator Bay, the Wildlife Park offers an incredible panoramic view of the reptilian species. Together with your family, you can admire crocodiles and alligators, before pursuing a course playful and full of discoveries.

Europe’s largest Lizard showcase

Alligator Bay houses 200 alligators and crocodiles, 100 saurian including the widest collection of giant lizards in Europe, 100 snakes including a collection of boas, pythons and anacondas and 300 turtles including Seychelles giant turtles and tortoises in Africa.

Three spaces await visitors: the tropical greenhouse, Turtle Farm and the labyrinth of dragons. The smaller ones will be able to slip into tunnels to get to the level of crocodiles and observe more closely. Do not miss the meals of the reptiles, which are spread out at different times in the day depending on the species!

And if Alligator Bay looks like a park, it is also a breeding center for rare and endangered species as well as a place of reception and accommodation. The Alligator for example receives Florida turtles purchased by individuals in pet stores who wish to get rid of it. In total, the Alligator Bay has more than 200 births each year...
