A Renaissance Master piece

You are looking for a family trip but you don’t have clue where to go, well then why not trying Alsace, more specifically le chateaux de Fléville. Classified as a historical monument, the Castle of Fléville which was built in 16th century is recognised as master piece from the French Renaissance, the castle is located in the place of an ancient medieval fortress, with a feudal Dungeon.

Fléville is a faithful witness of life in Lorraine for almost 700 years now. The owners of Fléville castle, a family who lived there for 200 years, lovingly preserve the testimony of seven centuries of Lorraine history. Finally, it is a perfectly preserved monument, surrounded by a romantic park and garden rated "outstanding".

Travel back in time

For the pleasure of visitors, fifteen rooms are dedicated to the medieval life style of the 16th century, including Satanislas’s court room, the chapel etc... Brought to life by the act of many costumed artist, the scene just carries the visitors back in time to the glorious days of the castle.

Don't forget to visit the kitchen garden producing fruit and vegetables for the household all year! You can also stroll at the discretion of the scent of the rose garden, fruit trees and aromatic herbs. Attention to not get lost in the maze!

The romantic garden

As for the exterior, about 20 acres of land was transformed in to a sweet romantic park. As for the vegetable garden, it has a wide range of fruits and vegetables for household usage all year round. The rose garden, the fruit trees and the aromatic herbs are the fascinating. But careful not to get lost in the maze!
